The Liz & Dave Beebe Camillus Erie Canal Park is a beloved destination in Camillus & surrounding areas. The park consists of 420 acres, a 2 story museum, BOTH historic versions of the Erie Canal (including the original, Clinton's Ditch, and the First Enlargement), the only boat rides (from May - October) on Historic Erie Canal in NYS, and the historic Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and the only re-watered & navigable Aqueduct remaining in the World from the 32 which once graced the Enlarged Erie Canal. Founded in 1972 it is a unique collaboration between the Town of Camillus and the Camillus Canal Society. It's a great place to learn, exercise & enjoy family time. We are also dog-friendly! We are open year-round on Saturdays from 12 - 4, and Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 12 - 4 from May - October.
