The showcase event is about making the public and other businesses aware of what you, your business or your organization has to offer. You may display examples of your products or services, give away samples or promotional merchandise and literature. You may make appointments to meet with a prospective customer for a follow-up discussion, however you may not sell merchandise or perform any service or take orders at the showcase event in exchange for money.
Non-profit organizations may sell raffle tickets, however any other items for sale must be approved by the Showcase Committee.
For-profit businesses may hold free drawings at their discretion provided that entrants “need not be present to win.”
No food or beverages that are intended to be consumed at the event may be given away or sold by exhibitors.
No alcohol, firearms, drugs, tobacco, pornography or anything else that is not “family appropriate” may be included as part of your display or used on the premises.
