Tips, Techniques, and Inspiration (For Adults) Registration preferred as space is limited. Local writer Linda Lowen will lead a 90-minute workshop a grab bag of approaches and suggestions to encourage your writing life and keep you inspired. Learn the foolproof process that can turn anyone into a writer, find out what makes a story, novel, or memoir flow or fumble, and try an in-class exercise to access your subconscious for character and story ideas. Bring tools for writing: pen and paper, or a laptop if you prefer. Linda Lowen is a freelance writer/editor and writing instructor whose advice on the craft of writing has been published in Writer’s Digest and The Writer magazines. Her short nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times Sunday Styles section. She is a book reviewer for Publisher’s Weekly and is a theater reviewer for the Syracuse Post-Standard.
